The VlakVark Fireplace
The VlakVark is a new and unique fireplace concept tailored for South African conditions, inspired by a top-selling Canadian design. Its innovative construction ensures heat is spread evenly throughout the home, while minimal smoke and heat escape through the chimney, making it safe to touch. The design burns combustible gases efficiently, maximizing heat output and reducing wood usage, resulting in significant cost savings.
The tubular and flat steel construction forms a heat exchanger, with hot air rising and escaping via the top tubes, while cold air is drawn in at the bottom, creating a continuous convection process that rapidly warms the room and its surroundings.
